Paul’s Plastering Services
Paul runs a plastering and rendering team out of Aylesbury, working across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire. This is what he had, what I built for him and why. Shown with his permission, and the site itself is live at paulsplasteringservices.co.uk for anyone to open.
Screenshots of the live site at phone width, taken in September 2026.
Before
What he had
Good work, happy customers, and nowhere to send anyone. As it stood in September 2026, before I started.
- Website
- None. Nothing in his posts named one, and the web address with his business name in it was still free to register.
- His page, and most of the proof. Photographs of finished jobs and seven reviews, every one of them recommending him. Only useful to someone who already knew to look there.
- The biggest archive of his work, over two hundred posts, with no way for a customer to find it from a search.
- A listing with his number on it, and no website, no photographs and no reviews. His Facebook reviews could not be moved across, because Google does not allow it.
What was built
And why each part is there
-
It leads with render, not plastering
His van says “Silicone render specialists”. Most of his photographs are outside render, and so are most of his reviews. So that is what the site says first, in his words rather than mine.
-
His own photographs, nothing stock
Someone choosing a plasterer wants to see the finish. Every job photographed on the site is one he did, and the before and after pairs are the same wall or ceiling, taken on his phone.
-
Reviews copied word for word
Spelling and all, with a link to his Facebook page where anyone can read them in the original. A review you can check is worth more than a polished one you cannot.
-
The towns he has actually worked in
People search for a plasterer in their own town. The list on the site came from his own posts and check-ins, so every place named is somewhere he has done a job.
-
One tap to ring him, from every screen
A call button follows you down the page on a phone. There is an email address on his own domain that lands in the inbox he already uses, and a short form for anyone with no time to ring.
-
A way to start his Google reviews
He was starting Google from nothing. A short link and a QR code open the write-a-review box directly, so a happy customer can leave one straight from an invoice or a text.
-
The address is in his name
paulsplasteringservices.co.uk is registered to Paul, not to me. It is his business address, and if he ever moves on it goes with him.
Since
What has changed for him
He has a website on his own address that he can put on a van, an invoice or a text message, and it shows a stranger his work, his reviews and his number, with a call one tap away.
What you will not find here is a figure for calls or jobs won. The site went live in September 2026 and it is too early to have a number worth printing. When there is one, it goes on this page. If Paul wants to say something about it, it will be in his words, not written for him.
Until then, the best evidence is the site itself. Open it on your phone and judge it the way one of his customers would.
Ten minutes, and I will show you what yours would look like.
No charge, no obligation, and you keep the mock-up whether or not you go ahead.
